BIRTH PLANNING party

Birth planning can be an excellent way to begin preparing the body, mind, and soul for the process of labor and delivery. Orienting toward this profound journey can be exciting, scary, and transformative in itself. The Birth Planning Party is an opportunity to practice receiving support, an important and often overlooked part birth and postpartum preparation.

You will be guided by Zoë, a full-spectrum doula trained in working with a diverse expression of individuals and families, including, but not limited to, queer families, poly families, birthing people of color, solo parents, surrogates, and more. When you sign up, you’ll receive a fillable template (Notion and PDF) outlining comprehensive choices encompassing the full range of choices for labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum, including common interventions and medication options. Whether you are turning toward a hospital birth, home delivery, birthing center, or scheduled cesarean, all birthing choices are respected equally here.

By embarking on this journey together, we’ll have the opportunity to engage in supportive discussions, share knowledge, and build peer community. To prioritize embodiment and self-care, I will weave in moments for grounding and gentle movement. As an added bonus, I will guide a somatic exercise to access your embodied intuition as a tool for making authentic decisions in this sacred process. Honoring the fact that each birth and each birthing person is unique, we will tend not only to the physical aspects of birth, but also explore spiritual, emotional, and relational intentions for labor and delivery.
